What to Name Our Baby Girl??

So... I was planning on naming our sweet lil girl that is due in June- Kimber Shari Shumway (KSS)... But now I am thinking it's to similar to her youngest cousins name Kambri and would cause a lot of confusion and tongue twisters with all the K names in the family. We got Kalli, Kaylee, Kambri and the lil dog Kiwi ;) lol and then maybe Kimber. What is your thinking on this name? I need help and Matt won't say anything or give me any input. He says it's my choice unless it's a name he doesn't like at all. haha So the other name we like is Mattie Tayrn Shumway (MTS).
The meaning of the names are also important to me so here are both the name meanings:


KIMBER- Comes from America, English origin. And is short form of Kimberley which means: Leader. Other meaning is Ruler and Forest clearing.  Also is the brand of very well built guns, rifles/pistols, (also Matt's favorite rifle he owns). This is the Logo below of the gun.

SHARI- In Hebrew The meaning of the name Shari is: Diminutive of Sharon: From the Plain of Sharon (in the Holy Land); from the land of Sharon.

Is a pet form of Sharon, which is from Hebrew, and means "open plain or a flat area." Some sources say the origin is uncertain, but give its meaning as "harmonious, musical” and Beautiful Princess, Sweetheart. A vintage French name that is quite unusual. Very often used in the phrase "Mon Cherie". -Origin: Hebrew, French & English.

MATTIE- Comes from the English, German & French origin. And means in English means: Most honored. In German means: Might in battle/Powerful battler.

Mattie, is a variant of Matthew (Hebrew), and the meaning of Mattie is "gift of the Lord".
TARYN- Comes from American, Greek, Irish, Celtic-Gaelic & Hebrew origin. Combo of Tara and Karyn: exuberant. In Irish means: Bright (combo of Tara & Erin).

In Scots-Gaelic means: Tender/Innocent. In Scandinavian means: Little Princess.
Also means: Beautiful sky. And in Welsh it means: Thunder.

    I like the name Kimber you won't be around all the K names all the time and some people marry people with siblings same name... It is not too close to Kaylee. Kimber is a pretty name I like Kimber Shari Shumway. I like the meaning. It will fit her cute personality I am sure. LOVE YOU... Mom

    I too like the name Kimber - I think it is a good fit but I say wait until that baby pops out look at her face & then name her :)

    I agree Kalli :) I will pick my favorite but wait to see her face to make it final! So far I'm leaning towards Kimber to. lol It just fits. Thanks Mom, Kalli and Jeri. That helped a lot!

    Kimber is my favorite as well. I think you should go with your first instinct on this one and stick with the name you originally picked out for her. =)

    My parents wanted to name Bryce Landon, but they didn't because they thought it was too close to Brandon! Ha ha, but they ended up using the name anyway down the road. I love the name Kimber! I think whatever you decide to name your little one will fit her just perfectly!

I never thought of doing Kimber Mattie, but it's kind of cute so I'll put that one in my choices :) Thanks Chelsea. And that's a funny story Carly.
